CCTV appeal launched after purse stolen at Aldi shop in Sudbury

An appeal to locate a woman, in connection with a theft that occurred at a shop in Sudbury, has been launched by police.

The crime took place at the Aldi supermarket in Girling Street, some time between 2pm and 2.40pm on Friday, November 9, when a woman had her purse stolen from her handbag, which had been hung on the back of her shopping trolley.

A CCTV image of a woman, whom police would like to question in relation to the incident, has now been released.
