Police in Halstead are appealing for information about a burglary at a house in Honeywood Road.

Thieves broke into the property through a rear window sometime between 2pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday, June 2, and stole cash.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Christopher Sedgwick said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw a black vehicle in the Honeywood Road and Churchill Avenue area around the time of this incident.

“One of the occupants of the car is described as a white man with a medium build aged in his late teens to early twenties.

“I am also asking anyone who owns a black car that was parked in Churchill Avenue at that time to contact me so that I can eliminate them from my enquiries.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Dc Sedgwick at Braintree CID on 101.
