THREE good causes have received a boost thanks to a Sudbury supermarket.

Waitrose donated £431 to The Suffolk Preservation Society in Lavenham, £348 to the ‘Pop In’ drop-in centre in Friars Street, Sudbury, and £221 to the residents’ fund of Brookwood Manor care home.

The donations form part of Waitrose’s Community Matters scheme, in which customers vote for one of three organisations to receive a slice of £1,000 each month.
