Police have linked a series of car thefts from homes in Hadleigh and Great Waldingfield.

Two BMWs were taken from properties in Hadleigh overnight between September 29 and September 30.

The first was a black BMW 520, which was parked in Oxford Drive. The second was a black BMW 118D sport, which was stolen from a driveway in Tayler Road.

Police have now linked these to another spate of BMW thefts in Great Waldingfield overnight between Tuesday, October 7, and the following morning.

In Netherall Close, a black BMW 330D saloon was taken, while a grey BMW 325 sport was taken from Overing Avenue.

On the same night, thieves attempted to break-in to a grey BMW hatchback in Kieffer Close, causing damage to the passenger side lock and handle.

Police have appealed for information on any of these incidents.
