This year’s annual indoor Car Park Dance raised £1,300 for local charities.

The annual dance is a re-creation of a former event that took place in the North Street Car Park in the 1960s and is now held in the Delphi Centre in Sudbury.

In its fifth year since being reformed by a group of friends, the event, on December 19, raised £1,300, with £500 given to both Macmillan Cancer Support and Visually Impaired People. More than £20,000 has been raised for charities by the group so far.
