SUDBURY residents are being asked to take part in a survey run by the Citizens Advice Bureau about the service they get from banks.
The Newton Road service, based at Belle Vue, is taking part in a national research project, and says the results will help it deal with inquiries about money from people. The survey is being run at other CABs around the country.
Advice supervisor Ian Burnett said the number of money-related inquiries is increasing as people struggle to make ends meet during the recession.
He said: “It is still the case that the number of people seeking help from us with the current economic climate is increasing. We see lots of people asking about benefits.”
He said the survey – which can be found at www.adviceguide.org.uk – looks at how people access their cash and what could be done to make it easier.
