A SUDBURY bus depot faces an uncertain future.
Hedingham and District buses, in Meekings Road, was still running services as normal this week amid rumours of depot closures.
Managing director Robert MacGregor said: “It’s up in the air at the moment.
“We are still operating as normal until the end of the month.”
When asked about possible closures, Sudbury depot manager Robert Snow said: “It is a possibility, but that is all it is at the moment.
“We are still operating until the end of the month – there is nothing definite as of yet.”
According to its website, Hedingham and District operates 120 vehicles, with two services in Sudbury, which carry over one million passengers a year in North Essex and Suffolk.
