St Peter’s in Sudbury is to host a new event tailored to helping small local businesses.
The Sudbury Small Business Show is set to take place over a week in early October, hosted by the popular ‘Visions of Sudbury’ Exhibition held in St Peters.
It is hoped the show will bring awareness of local micro enterprises to people in Sudbury and beyond.
With over 2,000 visitors attending the well-established Visions art show, businesses will have the chance to show off their wares or talk directly to potential customers.
Event organiser Robin Drury said: “Perhaps you produce jewellery, make pots, restore furniture, carve stone? Or maybe you provide services such as an architect, builder, book designer, signwriter - practice in reflexology, reiki, interior design?
“The list is endless! This event could be just what you need to promote your particular skill or product.
“There are so many micro businesses set up locally, providing a rich choice to the public and supporting the local economy. Many of these are rolled out by one-man-bands or tiny organisations that may only employ a few people.
“They can be run from anything like a kitchen table or office to a small industrial unit. We all know they are out there, scattered in and around Sudbury.”
For those unable to man a stand for a week there is also a manned counter for products to be displayed and sold.
Sudbury Small Business Show runs from October 6-11 from 10am-6pm. There is still stall space available and more information can be found at www.sudburysuffolk.co.uk or by calling 01787 373710.
