Rural property targeted in overnight burglary near Sudbury

A rural property was targeted in a late-night burglary near Sudbury.

The incident took place in Valley Road in Newton on Tuesday, at around 3.15am.

A worker on site was alerted to the noise of what was thought to have been an angle grinder-type tool cutting through the locks.

Three men were seen breaking into outbuildings and containers at the site.

After the intruders were disturbed, they left in a Range Rover type vehicle and drove in the direction of Waldingfield.

Suffolk Constabulary are appealing for any information relating to the incident.
