Boy injured in hit and run

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy suffered a broken wrist after being struck by a car.

The accident took place at around 4.10pm on March 26 in Wattisham Road, Bildeston, when a small blue car collided with the boy on his skateboard when he left the pavement.

The driver off the car stopped and spoke to the boy before driving off. The boy returned home and was taken to hospital by his mother, where is was discovered he had sustained a broken wrist, bruised hip and a small lump on the head.

Police are appealing for the driver of the blue car involved to come forward.

He is described as a white man, of medium build and around 30-years-old. He had short brown spiked hair with blonde highlights, was around 5’4” and spoke with an Essex accent.
