The body of a man discovered in Stoke-by-Clare on Monday, May, 4, has been formally identified as missing person Mark Stanbridge.
Mr Stanbridge was reported missing after last being seen on the morning of Wednesday, April 22, in neighbouring Clare.
Police were called at 6.15pm on Monday by a member of the public who reported finding a body in woodland, close to Maple Hill.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem examination has taken place.
A file is now being prepared for the coroner and an inquest will be held in due course.
