Firefighters were called to rescue a baby locked in a car in Hadleigh yesterday morning.

The crew from Hadleigh was called at 10.02am to the 999 call.

On arrival, fire-fighters found a 10-month-old baby in the vehicle and the crew used a tool called a ‘Big Easy’ to gain access into the vehicle.

The tool allows entry into vehicles without the need to break glass or damage the bodywork.

By 10.23am the baby had successfully been released by the fire service.
