B&Q store's kind gesture lifts spirits at Catchpole Court Care Home in Sudbury amid coronavirus lockdown
Residents at Catchpole Court Care Home in Sudbury were delighted to receive a donation of plants and potting compost from a DIY store.
The generous gift was delivered to the facility in Walnut Tree Lane from the team at B&Q.
While tending their garden, residents and staff were provided with a temporary reprieve from the coronavirus lockdown.
Praising the kind gesture, Clare Bracken, from Four Seasons Health Care Group, which runs Catchpole Court, said: “It’s been extremely encouraging to experience the overwhelming support and appreciation we have had from our local community.
“The tokens of gratitude we have received are a fantastic acknowledgement of all the hard work from our team members during this extraordinary time. We couldn’t be more thankful for all the support.”
