Art show needs exhibitors

The Sudbury Talbot Art Show returns next week, with a chance for local artists to show off and sell their work.

The popular show, organised by the Sudbury Talbot Rotary Club, will take place at St Peter’s in Sudbury, opened with an invitational preview night on Monday.

The show will remain open each day from September 29 to October 2, from 10am to 4pm each day.

The club is looking for artists of any medium to display their work, with exhibits already including paintings, sculptures, stained glass, photography and ceramics.

The show is organised to raise funds for the rotary club’s chosen charities.

Since forming the club has raised £125,000 for local and national charities and causes.

Its proudest moment came earlier this year, when £5,000 was raised for Prostate Cancer UK through a charity cycle ride.

Anyone interested in taking part in the exhibition should call 01284 830218 or email samnicholls65@aol.com.
