A witness appeal has been launched, after a suspicious man was foiled in his attempt to break into a home in Great Yeldham.

The incident occurred Thursday, September 20 at about 3.30pm, when a 39-year-old man was asleep at his home in High Street, only to be awoken by a noise.

Upon investigating the sound, he found another man forcing open the back door.
