Appeal after £4,000 worth of koi carp fish stolen from property in Clare

Dozens of fish valued at around £4,000 were stolen from an address in Clare.

The theft occurred overnight between Saturday and Sunday at a home in Bridewell Street.

During this period of time, a number of offenders jumped over a fence at the rear of the property, before stealing between 40 and 60 koi carp fish from a pond.

Anybody who may have information about the incident, or who has been offered koi carp fish for sale, should contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting the crime reference number 37/2724/20.
