Antiques stolen in burglary of Long Melford shop

An antique shop in Long Melford was the target of a burglary.

The business was raided in Hall Street at some point on Monday, January 14 and Tuesday, 15, between 5pm and 9am.

Entry was gained by breaking the front window, where two brass figures and a range of items were taken.

Amongst the stolen goods was a box containing Art Deco depicting female faces, a large Macintosh box, a dress cane and three candle copper boxes.

Anyone who has information relating to the incident, or can help locate the stolen items, should call Suffolk Constabulary on 101, quoting crime reference 37/3175/19.
