A134 reopens at Bradfield Combust after lorry recovery

Suffolk Police say the A134 at Bradfield Combust has reopened after a two-and-a-half hour operation to recover an overturned lorry.

The road was closed between noon and 2.30pm while the lorry was recovered from a roadside field.

Suffolk Police were called at about 4.20am this morning to reports a lorry had tipped on its side near the junction to Windsor Green. The Renault lorry had ended up off the road in a field but the driver is not thought to have been injured.

One of the lanes on the A134 was closed all morning while the load – believed to be milk – was unloaded but police say they needed a full closure to allow recovery of the vehicle.
