Hadleigh Pool and Leisure Centre reopened on Saturday after a year-long, £2.4million refurbishment including new gym equipment, community rooms and a café.
It comes just two weeks after South Suffolk Leisure, the company which runs the centre, reported losses of £102,000 and a 10 per cent decrease in swimmers at Hadleigh.
Is Babergh District Council right to spend this much money on the centre? Will this help attract more customers and increase revenue, or is the council unwise to invest so heavily given the drop in customers last year?
Have you tried the new facilities? What do you think?
