A Sudbury charity, which has been running for 40 years, has made a fresh plea for new members so it can continue.
Helping Hands, which campaigns on behalf of adults with learning difficulties at Sudbury Community Hub, needs six new committee members to help its long-term survival.
“We are calling on community-minded individuals, who may have some spare time, to come forward and help our group which makes such an important contribution to the local community,” said group chairman Jack Owen.
He added that the charity was also looking for people to join its youth committee, which was launched last year.
“This is an area we are really keen to expand as members of the youth committee will hopefully evolve to the main committee in the years to come,” said Mr Owen.
