There was no change at the top or the bottom of the Clare Summer Cribbage League after the latest round of fixtures.
Leaders Glemsford Social Club took four points at bottom-placed Glemsford Black Lion in a close 8-7 win.
The three-point gap to second place remains as Clare Bell travelled to Cavendish Bull to collect four points with a 9-6 result.
Stoke-by-Clare Lion A jumped up two places, taking all five points from Melford Working Men’s Club A, who stay second from bottom, four points ahead of the Black Lion.
Melford Men’s Club B moved up into third spot with a narrow 8-7 victory at Stoke Lion B, leaving the Lion team one point behind their A team.
All the home teams lost, but as the season is now at the halfway stage and the fixtures reversed, they will be travelling away looking for revenge.
