Budding artists are being reminded that there is still time to enter the Visions of Sudbury exhibition.
The aim of the event, which will be taking place for the fifth time at St Peter’s, is to encourage artists and visitors to celebrate the heritage of the town.
Painters, photographers, printmakers, potters, sketchers, needleworkers and embroiderers are all free to submit work before September 13.
Anne Grimshaw, who helps organise the exhibition, said there was plenty of time to get involved.
“If you have not started yet, there is still time to paint, draw and photograph Sudbury,” she said.
“There is no lack of inspiration, people just need to look around. There’s the water meadows, the beautiful old buildings, the market and the churches.”
Nearly 4,000 people visited the 2011 show and it is hoped this year’s event, from October 7 to 13, will attract similar numbers.
Entry forms are available from the Tourist Information Centre, Gainsborough’s House and Goslings in Station Road.
