A WORLD-renowned harpsichordist is set to perform at a village church.
Trevor Pinnock, one of the most famous and distinguished figures in the early music field, will be playing at St James’ Church in Nayland as part of the Suffolk Villages’ Festival Winter Concert Series on March 6 at 6pm
In the programme, Trevor, who directed the English Concert for 30 years and now divides his time between conducting, solo harpsichord recitals, chamber music and educational projects, plays a selection of the greatest music written for harpsichord by 17th and 18th century German and French composers.
It will be the second time Trevor has performed at the festival after he also appeared in concert in 2007.
Tickets for the festival cost between £10 and £15 and can be bought from the box office by calling 01206 366603 or visiting email@example.com.
