TODDLERS, teenagers and adults are being encouraged to learn a language at a new school in Nayland.
DoubleLingo was recently set up in Wiston Road and aims to make as many children as possible bilingual by teaching them French and Spanish.
The language school caters mainly for children from 12 months upwards, but also runs adult classes.
Emma Lamb, who set up the school after working as a nanny in France, said: “I knew I loved working with children and woke up one morning with the idea of opening a language school.
“British children are lagging behind other countries in their knowledge of a foreign language and I am determined to turn the tables.”
The school, which is staffed by French teacher Julia Hmidache and Spanish teacher Libia Rodriguez Torrico, also introduces aspects of history, art, food and culture in its classes.
