Break-time is usually a chance for children to forget about the classroom, kick a football about, play hopscotch or even read a book.
But at Hadleigh Primary School, pupils have taken to practising diabolo.
The playground is filled with youngsters performing various tricks on the piece of apparatus, which uses string and two hand sticks to spin a central object.
“It seems the whole school has gone diabolo crazy,” said maths and English teacher Leah Bewsher.
“The playground is a sight to behold and the school has welcomed the craze with open arms, but we have had to set a few safety rules.”
The diabolo is believed to have been developed from the Chinese yo-yo.
