Staff stage bake-off to boost Sport Relief

Teachers and staff at a Clare school channelled the culinary skills of Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood as they kick-started their fundraising for Sport Relief.

Youngsters at Stour Valley Community School sponsored staff to bake a selection of delicious treats last Monday.

Each staff member had two hours to prepare, bake and decorate a cake or pastry of their choice, which was sold in the school throughout the week. So far, £120 has been raised.

Lisa Kemp, from the school, said that, once all the funds were collected, a winner of the bake-off would be announced.
