DOING WELL: Month-old piglets are thriving in Long Melford.

Huddled together and eager for food, Kentwell Hall’s latest litter of piglets is keeping mum Salt & Pepper on her toes.

The seven Tamworth crosses were born on March 1 and have just celebrated their first month in the big wide world – by being named.

The hall in Long Melford ran a competition to name the piglets, with Roly, Poly, Porker, Pinky, Perky, Pipsqueak and Little Pig Robinson winning out.

“They are all doing well and, as they explore the grounds, are proving a real hit with visitors,” said Jenny Taylor, from Kentwell.
