IN EARNEST: Lavenham drama group takes on Oscar Wilde classic for June production.

Lavenham Players turn their talents to one of the most-loved comedies of all time for their next production.

They are staging Oscar Wilde’s classic The Importance of Being Earnest at Lavenham Village Hall on June 6,7 and 8, with a matinee on Saturday June 7.

Director Sue Clark praised her cast, saying: “It takes dedication and a love of your art to attend rehearsals on a regular basis, after a hard day’s work.

“My cast are dedicated and are a delight to watch. Do make sure you come along to see the show.”
