Driver questioned

Police have thanked the public for their help and support following a hit-and-run accident in Sudbury last Tuesday.

A 23-year-old man suffered a broken knee cap and facial injuries when he was involved in a collision with a car by the Great Eastern Road pedestrian crossing.

Police launched an appeal for a woman in her late 60s, driving a silver car, who stopped and got out before driving away towards King Street.

Police said the driver involved had now come forward following the appeal.
