Turner just misses personal best

SUDBURY Jogger Dominic Turner continued his excellent form on Sunday when he competed in the Framlingham 10k, narrowly missing out on another personal best time.

On a hot and hilly course, Turner finished in a time of 44 minutes 50 seconds which was good enough for 81st place.

This test stands him in good stead for this coming Sunday where he and several other members of the Joggers will compete in the relatively flat Langham 10k.

n Sudbury Joggers are inviting would-be runners to join them on Wednesday night to see what the club is like.

The starters night is open to any over-18s who are looking to get fit and meet new people, whether they can run two miles or 10, and is designed especially for those who are nervous about joining a sports club.

Anyone interested can meet up with members outside the Kingfisher Leisure Centre at 7pm.
