Ten members of Sudbury Gymnastics Club enjoyed a successful time in two competitions, picking up medals in both.
The Suffolk County Recreational qualifier is an individual apparatus competition where the gymnasts have the opportunity to compete on vault, bars, beam and floor, or just in their strongest pieces.
The top three on each apparatus go forward to the regional finals.
Charlotte Schofield (10-11) took bronze on vault and got through to the finals. She also competed on floor, bars and beam.
In the 12-15 age group, Jolee Finch also competed on all four and took silver on floor and bronze on beam to go through.
Darcie Clarke competed on bars, floor and took bronze on vault, taking her through to the finals.
Evie Ogle, Libby Thompson, Grace Goddard and Erica Halliwell produced some good performances in their chosen pieces, all coming in the top half of their age category.
Three members took part in the tumbling and trampette competition at Bury Spectrum Gym Club.
Louisa Pettican took gold in tumbling level six (11 years old and under), plus an award for the highest score for the whole of level six, and silver in the trampette level four (11 and under).
Alyssia Gronland experienced her first ever tumbling and trampette competition and performed very well at trampette level two (aged eight), finishing sixth.
Emily Hookway competed in trampette level four (13 and under) where she won silver and tumble level six (13 and under) where she took the gold medal.
