London 2012: Louise Jukes’ Olympic adventure ends

FORMER Harleston Magpie Louise Jukes completed her London 2012 journey with a 37-14 defeat to Croatia on Sunday.

Jukes — part of Team GB’s handball side — suffered defeat in all five group games to crash out.

However, with Britain competing in their first Olympics having created their team just six years ago, it was a valiant effort.
