Hope you enjoy our new column and this month we have a great prize to give away to one lucky reader. Please see details at the bottom of this column.

This season looks like it should be an exciting one for us Town fans, in spite of Saturday's setback.

During pre-season, ITISC were honoured to present an award to both Glentoran FC and Paul Leeman who had a testimonial game against Town in Belfast.

I was lucky enough after the game to do the awards in the club's suite in front of both Glentoran fans and Town fans that made the journey!

I would also like to add my sincere thanks to Chris Hare of the Northern Ireland branch who made our trip so enjoyable. ITISC have made more friends and have been invited back one day by Glentoran FC.

ITISC received another invite by the Serbia branch to visit them in Belgrade and it's something we are looking into. If any Town fan would like to join us please email me on info@itisc.org.uk for more details.

So as you can see, although we are a small and new supporters club, we have already made a lot of friends all over the world!

ITISC recently held their AGM and I was honoured to be asked to continue as chairman and Kevin Beattie again accepted the role of president and said that he loves the club and is proud of what we have done for Multiple Sclerosis Society, the charity that he so proudly supports.

Next February, I am cycling from Ipswich Town FC to Preston North End FC (Town's away game) over a week and this is again to raise monies for both the MS Society and the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. Anyone interested in sponsoring me please read next month's column for more details on this… If any of you are interested in joining me in doing this fundraiser please contact me ASAP. It will be over a week and approx 280 gruelling miles !

My prediction for Town this season is PROMOTION!

Yes I really believe ITFC will get promoted this season. With the defence hopefully sorted now and plenty of cover in both midfield and up front, I believe Jim has the squad now to take us to the glory land of the Premiership!

Right, now for that chance to win the signed DVD as promised…

We are offering a signed copy of the 1978 FA Cup Final DVD by Kevin Beattie, our club President.

This is a great prize and to win this, you need to answer the following question;

How many full International caps did Kevin Beattie make for England, 8, 9 or 10?

Please submit your answer to info@itisc.org.uk by 24th August and the winner will be announced on here in next month's column…. Good Luck to you all.

If you would like to join our exciting club or more details, please contact me on info@itisc.org.uk.

Next month, look out for details of an exciting evening come next April – a night that no Town will want to miss…
