AFC Sudbury's young guns face Bedworth United for second time in five days

AFC Sudbury's young guns will have a sense of deja vu on Saturday when they face Bedworth United for the second time in five days.

Fielding a team with an average age of 21, Sudbury won 2-1 at league leaders Burnham on Saturday but they could not follow this up with another victory in midweek.

AFC drew 0-0 with Bedworth at King's Marsh Stadium on Tuesday, in the Zamaretto League Division One Midlands - their fourth successive home draw in 11 days, during a relentless schedule for the club.

Sudbury's assistant-manager Chris Tracey believes his side must be more clinical, if they are to get the better of United in the second encounter.

"It was disappointing not to get a win after the victory on Saturday," said Tracey.

"Our defence is one of the best in the division but we lack fire power. We took our chances on Saturday, whereas we didn't against Bedworth. It is not for a lack of endeavour. It's just the final product is lacking at the moment. If we can't get anyone in by the end of this season, we will certainly get someone in for the start of the next campaign."

AFC are looking to bring in a forward for Saturday's match, as they will be missing a number of players.
