Sudbury’s Jodie clocks two fast times

Cycling Club Sudbury riders took part in the E2/10 time trial course on Saturday.

Jodie Downs was the fastest Sudbury rider, posting a time of 21 minutes and 24 seconds, while James Rush (21.30) and Colin Harris (26.38) recorded new personal bests.

Damon Day (22.09), Dave Crisp (22.35), Barry Lee (28.07) and Len Finch (31.15) also completed the circuit.

Downs was also the fastest at the Lavenham 10 club event clocking in at 22.51, just ahead of Rush’s personal best of 22.56.

Trevor Pillett was the biggest improver on the night with a time of 28.47, while Crisp (23.42) and Sandra Mackay (26.52) also finished the course.

David Fenn leads the current standings with 610 points ahead of the next race at Acton.
