Sudbury enjoy plenty of success at home meeting

Sudbury Swimming Club had four winners and plenty of personal bests (pbs) at their Valentine’s Masters and senior age group meeting.

Five of the club’s 13 swimmers recorded times which put them first in their age group in the county.

Nick Robertson, in the 200mfreestyle, and Ella Rides, in the 50m fly and 50m breaststroke, both won their heats and qualified first in their 16 to 24-year-old age groups.

Tom Williams, in the 100m breaststroke, and Sarah Clarke, in the 100m individual medley, did likewise in the 25 to 29 age group.

In the older age groups there were pbs for: Stuart Beal-Collins, Ben Boxall, Aaron Noble, Sarah Farley and Suzanne Frost.

Redgi Keeble-Bradford and John Jiang also recorded pbs in the 16 to 24 age group.
