New waters bring positive initial results

Colnes Angling Society have been boosted by the news of positive early results from their new water at Domsey Farm, Marks Tey.

Results from the water have proved better than first hoped with several bags being taken in excess of 50lb and one of almost 100, made up of primarily carp of up to 10lb.

Members who have already joined can now download information and a map from the club’s website in the section on the reservoir.

Alternatively, it can be posted out on request by phoning Paul on 01787 223331 (evenings), or from a membership outlet.

Both this water and Boley Reservoir have been fishing well with reports of good-sized carp coming from both waters.

A lot of tench have been caught from Pebmarsh as well and Boley has been producing a lot of good roach with a few tench to 6lb-plus and bream in excess of 9lb.
