Moul improves but still off the pace

Stoke-by-Nayland golfer Jamie Moul tied in 22nd place at one under par in The Barclays Kenya Open in Nairobi at the weekend.

On the second event in the 2013 Challenge Tour season the 28 year old, who lost his card on the prestigious European Tour in his debut campaign last year, improved his performance by making the cut but was still some way from the top of the leaderboard.

Moul, who told the Free Press he has made adjustments to his swing which he needs to bed in, finished 10 shots off Spanish winner Jordi Pinto at the sun-drenched Karen Country Club.

The tour’s next scheduled event is not until the Challenge de Madrid in Spain on April 24.
