A host Sudbury Gymnastics Club members competed at Bury Spectrum’s floor and vault competition and returned with a medal haul.
In the advanced 10 and under age category, Sudbury had a clean sweep with Melanie Smith winning gold ahead of club mates Mia-Grace Street and Ellen Dreau with joint silver, Summer Collins with bronze, Amber Daniels in fourth and Olivia Codling in fifth.
In the nine to 10 age category, Alyssia Gronland took bronze, while in the 11 to 12 age category Eleanor T came eighth.
The club also enjoyed success in a Bury novice competition. In the eight to nine age category Orla Fisher took bronze, while in the nine to 10 age group Gronland narrowly missed out on a medal after finishing fourth.
In the advanced 10 and under group, Street finished fifth, with Smith in sixth, Summer Collins in seventh, Amber Collins in eighth, Ellen Dreau in ninth, Lilly Ford 10th and Amber Daniels 11th.
And there was further medal joy in the advanced 10 and over age category where Kitty Fowles-Smith took gold and Lillie-Mae bronze, while Ella Manby came fourth and Olivia Codling sixth.
