Sudbury’s Masters squad swimmers have been busy collecting medals.
At the Gloucester Masters Open meet, Stuart McLellan won six golds and one silver across the 400m, 200m and 50m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 100m breaststroke and the 400m and 100m individual medleys (IM) with some season’s best times.
Sharon McLellan swam six events: 400m, 200m, 100m and 50m freestyle, 100m backstroke and 100m breaststroke and won two silvers and one bronze with all of her swims in season-best times.
At Newmarket,Conor Hume swam the 400m freestyle, taking the gold medal in a personal best (pb), while in the 100m fly he took silver.
Laurence Chalk swam 50m freestyle and 100m fly, winning both gold medals.
Sarah Clarke swam 50m and 100m breaststroke, 50m and 100m freestyle, 100m IM and 100m fly, winning one gold and four silvers, with pbs in 50m and 100m freestyle.
Sharon and Stuart McLellan, along with Sarah Clarke, completed in the Royal Navy competition at Millfield School, Somerset.

Clarke swam all the events 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle, 50m and 100m backstroke, 50m and 100m breaststroke, 50m and 100m fly and 100m IM. She won one gold, three silvers and two bronze medals.
