An identical score of 40 points won both division prizes in the captain’s day organised by Andrew Johnson at Newton Green Golf Club.
Greg Bartlett won Division One and veteran Peter Webb Division Two with the same scores, on a day which featured a hole-in-one from David Holmes on the par three 11th.
Chris Williams came second in Division One with 39 points on countback (ocb) from Jed Seeley.
The best front nine score in the division was Steve Wordley’s 21 ocb, while Robb Watts’ 22 was the best on the back nine.
The nearest the pin on the second hole came from Nigel Kew.
In Division Two, the runner-up was Gareth Evans with 36 ocb from George Spencer.
The front nine competition was won by Lee Underwood’s 19 ocb, while the back nine was topped by David Holmes with 23 ocb.
The nearest the pin competition, on the sixth hole, was won by Clive Bloom.
