Joggers out in force

A host of Sudbury Joggers took part in the first of the Friday 5’s series, a five mile race in Ipswich, where more personal best’s were set and trophies won.

First home for the Joggers in a time of 30 minutes and 41 seconds was Tom Challener, followed by Tom Cresswell (31.09), Andrew Buck (31.51) Ben Cuthbert (32.03), Ady Frost, (32.57), Malcolm Penn (33.01), Clive Davey (34.13) Andy Glass (34.19) and Charles Hann (34.38).

First lady for the Joggers was Louise Hampshire (34.54). She was followed by Jonathan Price (38.38), Dee Stledger (38.54), Jackie Hann (38.55), Wayne Mumford (39.47), David Chapman (41.38), Sarah Pennock (43.16), Melonie Evans (49.34) (pb) Kat Ross (52.24), Lindsay Hobden (53.42), Sharon Breward (53.39) (pb).

n Elsewhere, 17 members of Sudbury Joggers running club took part in the Hatfield Broad Oak 10km race.

First Jogger was Ady Frost in a time of 41 minutes and 42 seconds (pb), followed by Clive Davey (42.03) (pb), Dee StLedger (47.13) (pb), David Chapman (49.50), Sarah Pennock (52.52) (pb) Gin Craig (52.530 (pb) Oisin Kelly (53.00), Micheal Earle (54.04) (pb) Lindsay Hobden (54.05) (pb) Bianca Burman (54.15) (pb) Paul Press (59.33) Lisa Dalton (59.38) (pb) Michelle Holland (1.02.34) (pb) Melonie Evans (1.03.34) (pb) Claire Fradley (1.04.07) (pb) Sharon Breward (1.04.30) (pb) and Hayley Gunn-Bruce (1.04.40) (pb).

After the 10k event their was a family run in which George Codling, Freddie Hobden,Cameron and Amelia Holland, Mitchell and Ellis Fradley and Ava Gunn-Bruce all took part over one mile.
