Great win for Roper in Enduro race meet

It proved a memorable weekend for Sudbury Motorcycle Club member Craig Roper, after he impressed in the Tarenig two day Enduro at the British Enduro Championship.

Riding in round seven, Roper finished second in the Expert E1/2 Class before going one better to taste glory with a race win.

Meanwhile, Jack Nicolaou competed in the Clubman E2 Class and finished eighth on the Saturday and ninth on the Sunday.

Elsewhere, Sudbury members were also riding in the third round of the Dave Barkshire Two Man Enduro Championship held at Wattisfield, organised by the Diss Motorcycle Club.

Perry Miller and Phil Whiting were in the running to win the Clubman Class, but in the end had to settle for second.

Dan Goodwin with his riding partner Tom Morris (Diss) finished fourth, Adam Kempster/Keith Potter seventh and Paul Webb/Trevor Scott 14th. In the Expert Class, Alex Walton/Jamie Lagden finished 10th and Graham Mays/Nigel Ross 12th.
