Sudbury Town darts team were held to a draw at home by local rivals Bury in the Suffolk Super League.

Sudbury fell behind early when Ross Theobald (19.64 average) went down 3-2 in the opening game to Neil Avory, and were 2-0 down once Dan Tatum (18.96 ave and 180) also lost a last-leg decider to Will Stanmore.

The home side got on the board when Mark Theobald (18.46 ave and 180) beat Matt Goodwin 3-2, before Brett Claydon (24.24 ave) levelled the scores with a 3-0 win over Chris Dale.

Toby Edwards (23.59 ave and 180) gave his best performance of the season, but eventually went down 3-2 to Richard Watson as Bury went back ahead.

But Sudbury captain Jason Stalker (23.86 ave) equalled the match again with a 3-0 win over Martin Weiss.

Martin Totman (24.54 ave) took the man-of-the-match award with a 3-1 win over Andy Grey.

But Bury secured a draw as Ian Randles (17.03 ave) lost for the first time this season, going down 3-0 to Keith Thompson.
