Colnes help raise money for charity

Colnes Angling Society hosted its third annual fund raising charity event for Cancer Research UK last Sunday at the clubs Pebmarsh Lake and was enjoyed by the 23 members who took part.

The event, organised and run by Peter Pound, Kevin Dewsnip and Tim Sage raised £461.50 for the charity.

The winner of the match and shield was Pierre Norfolk with 55lb 10oz, ahead of Kevin Dewsnip with 44lb 12oz and Terry Sowerby with 33lb, while section winners were Dave Meekins, Neil Hood, Peter Pound and Dave Partridge.
