NEWTON Green Golf Club is drawing up a new list of priorities after better than expected progress with its five-year plan.
In just two years the club has already managed to achieve £100,000 of investments and is now compiling a new wish list.
Chairman Paddy Lockwood said: “We have set a new level of expectation for the club and, as a result, still need to carry out further investments on a wide front relating to the course, club house and general infrastructure.
“Our progress has been recognised outside the club, with Suffolk Golf Union recently choosing our course for the latter stages of a number of competitions for its junior and adult competitions.”
The club will be holding an open day on Sunday, September 23, for anyone interested in joining, with incentives for group membership. Three month trial membership is usually £130 but will be reduced to £85 per person for groups of four.
