SUDBURY made a strong start with plenty of hard attacking play plus strong defence gave Sam Delgaty the space to score in the corner, converted by Ollie Jones.
Walden replied with a ferocious push to score the equaliser.
Neither side could get traction in the second half until in the dying minutes a missed tackle in the Walden half allowed Joel Rathbone to run in a breakaway try, converted by Ollie Burns.
Eton Manor 10 Sudbury A 5
ROBUST play from both sides saw some great driving rucks but neither pack could get the upper hand.
After a period of Sudbury pressure on the Eton Manor line, Sudbury were awarded a penalty. Tim Shaikly passed the ball out through backs for Patrick Irvine to drive over the line for a try after a final Joel Rathbone run.
Sudbury defended well against strong pressure until a string of quick Eton Manor passes brought the score level.
A couple of missed Sudbury tackles allowed Eton Manor over the line to score at the final whistle.

A VERY uneven start to the match saw Sudbury B overwhelmed and Eton Manor running in six tries.
After some changes by the hosts the second half was more even and turned into a great open match.

AN IN-FORM Luke Townsend drove Sudbury to victory with a hat-trick of tries in the second half after a strong start from the backs.
Eddie Brett forced his way over the line to score Sudbury’s first try in the last moments of the first half.
Walden squeezed in an unconverted breakaway try in the second half.
Rory Purdy converted all of Sudbury’s tries.
