Suffolk will face Lincolnshire in their opening Minor Counties Championship fixture of 2015 and inaugural Twenty20 
Competition match.

Lincolnshire will visit the Victory Ground at Bury St Edmunds for the three-day Unicorns Minor Counties Championship match, starting on Sunday, June 7.

Suffolk will face the same opponents in the Unicorns Twenty20 Competition – which is being run for their first time in 2015 – seven days earlier.

Suffolk have been placed in the same group as Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, with the latter two meeting in the other group semi-final at Fenner’s in Cambridge on the same 
day.

The winners of the two matches will meet in the regional final later in the day, with the overall victors progressing to the play-offs on Sunday, June 28.

The final will be held at Banbury a fortnight later.

Suffolk – who will be led by new skipper and Sudbury player-coach Tom Huggins after Justin Bishop decided to step down at the end of 
last season – start their Unicorns Knockout Trophy campaign against Norfolk at Ipswich School on Sunday, April 26.

n Halstead Cricket Club 
are mourning the loss of president Peter Rawlinson, who died on Sunday after illness, and Eric Rose, the father and grandfather of players at the club, also died on Sunday.

Dates for funerals have yet to be arranged.
