AFC Sudbury were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw by Cheshunt as Michael Shinn’s last minute free-kick rescued a point for David Batch’s men.

In a match where the hosts can consider themselves fortunate not to have lost, James Baker had previously levelled from the spot after Josh Cooper and Allen Bossman had twice put the visitors ahead.

In the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, Hadleigh United made it back-to-back wins following a comfortable 4-1 success over Thetford Town.

Gary Hooper’s solitary strike enabled Norwich City to overcome Crystal Palace in the Barclays Premier League, while Ipswich Town won 1-0 at Charlton Athletic in the Sky Bet Championship thanks to Tommy Smith’s early goal.
