AFC Sudbury’s hopes of crashing the Ryman League Division One North title picture were increased on Saturday afternoon.

Ollie Berquez struck twice and Terry Rymer got the other as the Yellows won 3-0 at Burnham Ramblers.

AFC moved up to third in the table as a result and are now 11 points behind leaders Harlow Town with a game in hand.

Ian Brown kept his perfect record as Hadleigh United manager intact as the Brettsiders retained third place in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division with a 2-1 victory at Kirkley and Pakefield.

In the First Division, Halstead Town won 3-1 at Braintree Town Reserves, Cornard United were beaten 3-0 at King’s Lynn Town Reserves and AFC Sudbury Reserves lost 2-1 at March Town United.

Ipswich Town moved back within two points of the summit of the Sky Bet Championship table thanks to a 2-1 triumph at Fulham, while Norwich City jumped into the play-off places with a 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
